The Midland 445 Bluetooth is the first consumer radio in the world to
incorporate all of the functionality &
usability of a PMR446 radio, along with the benefits & convenience
of Bluetooth connectivity. Bike to Bike transmission is carried out by
the radios built in PMR446 transceiver and the connection
between the radio and the rider is made by using the latest Bluetooth
technology. Primarily designed for use with the Midland range of
Bluetooth "Rider" headsets for bike to bike use, the 445 Bluetooth can
be used with any manufacturers Bluetooth headset, whether on or off a
bike! With a bike to bike range of an average of 1km and up to 5
km line of sight when stationary, PMR446 radio is by far and away the
most effective way of staying in touch when you are on the move. The
Midland 445 Bluetooth will also work in conjunction with a massive
range of conventional headsets,
chargers and accessories, making it one of the most versatile Two-Way
radio products currently on the market.
